Establishment of Koh-i-noor, a. s. for export and import
Decree No. 3231/1948 of the Official Gazette established Koh-i-noor, a joint-stock company for the export and import of outfitting and small consumer goods. This is where the institutional roots of the later Pragoexport lie.
Transformation into the foreign trade enterprise Pragoexport
Decree No. 305/1953 of the Official Gazette, adopted on 18 September and effective from 1 October, transformed the company into a foreign trade enterprise. A key milestone in the creation of the enterprise under its historically known name.
Establishment of PRAGOEXPORT, akciová společnost
Company registers record the establishment of the joint-stock company with ID No. 00000957. This marks the beginning of the documented registry history of the post-1989 company.
Name changed to PRAGOEXPORT s.r.o.
Registered ownership stakes: 50% ROSANS Corporation a.s. and 50% FRANCO DE POISD’EAU & CIE akciová společnost. A new business chapter under the historic name.
